I received a flyer in the mail today from the Joe Morelle campaign that promotes his community advocacy and his supposed protection of our families. On the inside of the flyer is a smiling Morelle alongside Father Tanck, pastor of Christ the King, St. Thomas the Apostle, and St. Salome. The photo was taken at an event announcing Morelle’s securing of tax dollars for a housing project at St. Salome.

The back of the flyer lists the organizations that have endorsed Morelle for NYS Assembly. Among those listed organizations is the Planned Parenthood Advocates of NY. Morelle is also rated 100% “pro-choice” and endorsed by the baby killing advocates at NARAL.

So, apparently Morelle’s a good guy as long as he secures money for DOR projects. He can be photographed laughing it up with a Catholic priest. He can list his religion as Catholic on various web site bios. He can even be listed as a lector at St. Ambrose and a former board member of the Catholic Family Center.

It is circumstances like these that hammer home the point that the DOR is not really all that serious about ending baby killing in the Rochester area. Morelle’s a good liberal who brings in the funding for the DOR. The babies be damned.
