My friend went today to Church of the Good Shepherd in Henrietta (the new home of Nancy DeRycke, the woman I mentioned before who co-read the gospel with a priest at Church of the Resurrection in Fairport, and takes a pretty active role in the Mass. Sr. Joan Jr. basically). She didn’t do any gospel reading this time, thankfully, but she did have a female layperson give a homily at the Mass. (Click here for video link to priestess’ “homily”)
